I only just recently realized that the account ‘pastorchrislive’ (of which I am one of its thousands of followers) is suspended, and we don’t know why. TWITTER has before now been a wonderful platform for our community interactions, and so far there has been no cause for any one to think of suspending such an account, which has been a blessing to so many of us.

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
DON’T LIVE IN FEAR! – PASTOR CHRIS Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid …(Deuteronomy 31:6). As a child of God, it’s wrong for you to be afraid of anything. All through the Scriptures, God repeatedly admonishes us not to fear. There’s no reason whatsoever for any Christian to be afraid of the devil, for he’s already defeated! In Matthew 28:18, Jesus said, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” Notice He said “all power”; not “some power,” meaning there’s none left for the devil. He was completely paralyzed and rendered helpless by Jesus. The reason many live in fear of the devil and what they believe he can do is their ignorance of the scriptures, hence they arrogate too much power to the devil. We just read that all power belongs to Jesus, and not the devil. Jesus took a spoil of the devil and his demons; He dislodged and dispossessed them of their powers! He stripped them of everything that’s of value, leaving satan and his cohorts helpless. Having done that, He then made an open show— spectacle of them—He paraded satan and his demons on the canvas as prisoners of war—wounded, beaten and rendered useless: “And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it” (Colossians 2:15). And then He gave you authority over them: “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19). Do you now see why you must refuse to be harassed or tormented by fear of any kind? You ought to live in faith; faith in God and in His Word; faith in the victory of Jesus over satan and the cohorts of darkness. That victory was for you. No matter what happens around you—in your life, your family, your job or in your finances—refuse to fear. Rather, surround yourself with the Word of God. His Word produces faith and faith destroys fear, causing you to operate with the Spirit of dominion. CONFESSION Dear Lord, your Word is in my heart and in my mouth today, producing faith in me and repelling every form of fear! Thank you for the courage, boldness and confidence your Word infuses into my spirit, as I meditate on and rejoice in it. Prosperity—Your God-ordained Right In Christ – Pastor Chris
For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. (2 Corinthians 8:9)
This portion of Scripture is your guarantee for a life of supernatural abundance. I’ve often said that the Christian is not the poor trying to be rich, but the rich discovering his inestimable inheritance in Christ. There’re Christians who don’t believe in prosperity, but what we read in the scripture above reveals that it’s God’s will for you to prosper. 3 John 1:2 says “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
Not only does God want you healthy and strong, He also wants you to prosper financially; it’s your God-ordained right, for you’re Abraham’s seed. The Bible says Abraham was blessed in all things (Genesis 24:1); he was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold (Genesis 13:2). In today’s language it will be right to say he had a lot of money. As the seed of Abraham, you also have been blessed and enriched in all things unto all bountifulness: “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29).
You’re an heir of God, and a joint heir with Christ; therefore learn to talk big. Refuse to talk poverty. When you talk big and things start looking up for you in life, some people, especially the religious folks around you will grumble at you and raise eyebrows. Don’t be moved by that. Just keep talking your way to abundance, and keep enjoying your prosperity in God. One thing religious folks can’t stand is our prosperity. It unsettles them and makes them restless: “…the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt” (Isaiah 57:20). But thank God the Bible says “Good men everywhere will see it and be glad, while evil men are stricken silent” (Psalm 107:42 TLB).
Prosperity is your God-ordained right in Christ Jesus, so don’t let anyone deceive you. There’s nothing too good for you because you’re the King’s kid! Refuse to be broke. Make it a conscious confession as you live in the light of God’s Word daily.
Keep talking prosperity; and when you see a fellow brother or sister prospering, be happy and rejoice with him or her, for that’s the life to which we’ve been called as God’s children.
Confession Dear Lord, thank you for choosing me for the life of prosperity and abundance. I don’t lack any good thing because I’ve recognized you as my Lord and Shepherd. Thank you Lord, for blessing me and enriching me in all things for your glory, and for the good of others around me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen! TODAYS MESSAGE: Make Room For More Blessings
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony… (Revelations 12:11).
Whenever God does something for you, it’s important that you testify. If you don’t testify of what the Lord has done for you, chances are you’ll lose it.Your testimony endorses your miracle, and creates room for you to receive more blessings from the Lord.
The woman with the issue of blood is a perfect example of how by openly testifying of what God has done for you, not only is that miracle established, but also creates opportunity for more blessings. After she touched the hem of Jesus’ garment and received her healing, the Bible says she “…came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately” (Luke 8:47). Upon hearing her testimony, the Master said to her, “Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace” (Luke 8:48). She got much more than healing, because she testified openly; she was made whole.
It’s the same thing with receiving salvation. Jesus Christ has saved the whole world through His death and so legally, every man, woman, boy and girl that ever came on this earth, and that will ever come has been saved. But it’s only the one who testifies of the Lordship of Jesus over him, believing that God raised Him from the dead that is catapulted into salvation!
If someone receives Christ, and refuses to testify to others of his salvation, such failure or refusal questions his submission to the Lordship of Jesus. Your testimony of Jesus as Lord of your life and Saviour of your soul activates the power of God that causes you to experience the vital reality of salvation. So you must continue to testify that you’re a Christian. Your testimony keeps you permanently above satanic onslaught. Our opening scripture says, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony…” (Revelations 12:11). If you received a healing miracle from the Lord, tell others about it: that’s the way to keep it, and receive even more blessings. Like the demon-possessed man at Gadara that Jesus healed, “Go home to your friends…and tell them what wonderful things God has done for you…” (Mark 5:19). Don’t keep quiet; make it a point of duty to share your testimonies with others. As you glorify God through your testimonies, He’ll see to it that you keep having more testimonies in your life Prayer Dear Father, I thank you for your many blessings in my life that I experience daily; thank you most of all for the wonderful salvation you wrought for me in Christ. My heart is illed with gratitude and my mouth with praise to you for your loving kindness, mercy, grace and love for me. I’ll testify of your goodness to the world in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
