TODAYS MESSAGE: Make Room For More Blessings And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony… (Revelations 12:11). Whenever God does something for you, it’s important that you testify. If you don’t testify of what the Lord has done for you, chances are you’ll lose it.Your testimony endorses your miracle, and creates room for you to receive more blessings from the Lord. The woman with the issue of blood is a perfect example of how by openly testifying of what God has done for you, not only is that miracle established, but also creates opportunity for more blessings. After she touched the hem of Jesus’ garment and received her healing, the Bible says she “…came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately” (Luke 8:47). Upon hearing her testimony, the Master said to her, “Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace” (Luke 8:48). She got much more than healing, because she testified openly; she was made whole. It’s the same thing with receiving salvation. Jesus Christ has saved the whole world through His death and so legally, every man, woman, boy and girl that ever came on this earth, and that will ever come has been saved. But it’s only the one who testifies of the Lordship of Jesus over him, believing that God raised Him from the dead that is catapulted into salvation! If someone receives Christ, and refuses to testify to others of his salvation, such failure or refusal questions his submission to the Lordship of Jesus. Your testimony of Jesus as Lord of your life and Saviour of your soul activates the power of God that causes you to experience the vital reality of salvation. So you must continue to testify that you’re a Christian. Your testimony keeps you permanently above satanic onslaught. Our opening scripture says, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony…” (Revelations 12:11). If you received a healing miracle from the Lord, tell others about it: that’s the way to keep it, and receive even more blessings. Like the demon-possessed man at Gadara that Jesus healed, “Go home to your friends…and tell them what wonderful things God has done for you…” (Mark 5:19). Don’t keep quiet; make it a point of duty to share your testimonies with others. As you glorify God through your testimonies, He’ll see to it that you keep having more testimonies in your life Prayer Dear Father, I thank you for your many blessings in my life that I experience daily; thank you most of all for the wonderful salvation you wrought for me in Christ. My heart is illed with gratitude and my mouth with praise to you for your loving kindness, mercy, grace and love for me. I’ll testify of your goodness to the world in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
